Welcome to our Goonan Clan Genealogy Tree Pages. I'll try to make this as easy as possible and explain what you'll find here and how to navigate through it. Feel free to copy any pages you like for your own family files. The only thing I would like ask of you is, if you find data that is incorrect or missing, please send it to us by e-mail so we can include it in future updates. Please include any sources you may have also. This is important for genealogists and other Goonans who may be looking for supporting documents like birth, death, marriage and census records, newspaper articles, obituaries, military records, immigration records, and family documents. Navigation: All the names are hyper-linked to each other so navigating is like navigating any website page. Pretty simple, huh? If you get lost navigating through the database pages, just click on the 'HOME' link at the bottom of each page and you'll be brought back to the opening page of the website and you can start over, or you can use the back button on your browser to reverse through the previously viewed pages. Find a surname name on the index page that might be you and click on it and it will display what names or information are in the records along with the names of the parents, click on them it will display their information and parents and so on. It's a no-brainer really. To get started click on the link at the bottom of this page that says "Take me to the Goonan Tree." Contacts: All the Goonan information we have gathered to date is in here. Goonans from all over the world are represented here. Sources of the information are included where we have them. We are still working on adding sources to the database and will be updating the pages fairly regularly. If you would like to correspond with any Goonans, e-mail me by clicking on the e-mail links on any page, and I will do my best to get you in touch with them if I have an address. I don't have a lot of addresses but I do have some. We would like to hear from you so don't be shy, send us an e-mail. If you are having problems with navigating let us know so we can help or fix it if it isn't working. I have tested it out in the big two browsers and it seems to work okay. I haven't heard from anyone saying it doesn't work so I'll assume all who have visited the site so far have found it okay too. Thanks to all of you who have contributed your family data and histories to this project.
