Notice to all:
Due to a few derelict and unscrupulous individuals who obviously have too much time on their hands and too few active and productive brain cells, I have been forced to remove the guest book data entry form from the website.
It is most unfortunate, but these idiots have ruined it for all who are sincere and want to leave messages of importance for other Goonan Clan members.
These morons have spammed me and the website guestbook enough, and I cannot figure out how to stop them from doing it, and I just don't enough time to monitor it 24 hours a day. So, until I can find a solution, the guestbook will be offline. You can still contact me via the website email address (Just remove the "nospam" from the email address - I am sorry to have to do this, but there is so much spam and junk email I am forced to do this) and I will put your posts on a page so all can see and respond, so please leave your email address and any other contact information you wish in your email to me.
If you are interested and/or haven’t seen for yourself, here is a summary of the types of trash that has been put into the website guestbook:
- Multiple entries (as many as 20 within 2 minutes) with attempts to overrun the buffer and presumably gain access to the site.
- Hundreds of links to scams, financial and otherwise.
- Hundreds of links to pornographic websites.
- Hundreds of links to prescription drugs and other dubious sexually oriented drug websites.
Most of this garbage has come from South America, Germany, and Afghanistan - go figure. The buffer overrun attempts have come from the U.S. I have traced the IP addresses of these morons and have sent off emails to the Internet Service Providers who own the IP addresses, but not much if anything has been done so far - no surprises there either.
So, I am sick of it and I don’t want this trash on my website or in my website guestbook.
